The FENiX Pro is an extremely well made and easy-to-use device. Battery power management is first rate, as it offers either a 4 or 6-minute automatic or optional shut-off and has a digital display showing real-time battery charge, temperature build-up and a countdown timer tracking length of session time, all displayed on a well designed and easily readable LED screen.
The unit is compact and feels virtually indestructible in your hand, but with its robust anodized aluminium case and ergonomic shape, it’s also very lightweight, compact and easily concealed unless your hand is quite small. The chamber is much bigger than you’d expect in such a compact unit, meaning the heat exchange is efficient, and it does indeed heat up unusually fast, which is a bonus because it also supports many pulls…for the best of both worlds. Importantly, the flow-through rate of vapour (inhaled through a discreet mouthpiece) feels generous and satisfying.
Overall, vapour quality is superlative in terms of volume and taste, and the user experience with this little gem is as good as it gets. This is a superb and highly refined 21st century piece of gear, built by people with high standards for design quality and solid performance. The Fenix Pro is a very solid addition to VapeMate’s curated collection of well-engineered and good value equipment for demanding and discriminating consumers.
